Holiday Greetings From Our CEO
This was the year many of us got the opportunity to travel and socialize again. We at RoomSketcher were unsure what would happen to our online lives when we had more freedom again. We’re glad to see that many of you decided to spend some of your newfound freedom with us.
In 2022, we had more than 10 million visits from 242 countries to our websites according to Google. We’re impressed to see that more than one million of you took the time to download the app.
It has always been a priority for RoomSketcher that our users succeed with their projects. This year we have been obsessed with improving all aspects of your User Experience. 2022 is almost at its end, and we look back at a year filled with a lot of exciting improvements in our User Experience. Here is a small taste of the improvements we made this year.
Redesigned Websites
Brand new websites were launched in January with easier navigation and lots of new content. We followed up with new international sites in June - this time doing a complete site translation (which was a lot of work!) for all four of our supported languages: German, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian.
Jump Start Projects With Floor Plan Gallery Templates
We launched our Floor Plan Gallery at the end of 2021, and 2022 was when it really took off. The RoomSketcher Floor Plan Gallery now contains more than 500 project templates, and every day, we are so happy to see users opening templates to make them their own. In October, we released a version of the RoomSketcher App that allows you to access the templates right when you start a new project - a great way to jump-start your design.
Get Answers Fast With Our New Help Center
In September, we launched our new help center with an updated “Get Started” section. With lots of additional articles, a new, easy-to-navigate structure, and a fresh design, it’s faster to find answers to your questions. And, of course, if you can’t find your solution, our team is always ready to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Master RoomSketcher in the Video Tutorials Center
With more and more users jumping on board and many users preferring self-service, we created a Video Tutorials Center complete with curated lists of our most popular videos. Learn the basics in less than 12 minutes, or enhance your skills with our more advanced tutorials. You’ll be a RoomSketcher expert in no time.
Get Inspiration From Customer Stories
We ran a customer survey earlier this year - thanks to all who responded! Based on your feedback, we recently added a Customer section to our website to highlight interesting customer stories. You’ll be inspired by the many ways our customers use RoomSketcher - we sure are! We hope this new section will provide you with lots of ideas and inspiration on new ways you can use RoomSketcher.
More Furniture With Replace Materials
Interior Designers love the ability to Replace Materials on fixtures and furniture, choosing just the right finish, fabric, or custom color for a piece, to closely represent their design vision. This year we expanded our furniture library with hundreds of new items that all have Replace Materials. Stay tuned for more in the coming year!
We’ve Made It Easier to Quickly Start New Projects
Whether you want to DIY your project or let us draw a floor plan for you - we’ve made it a lot easier to get started. Just press the new + button, located right above the drawing pane, choose how you want to start, and off you go. Start from scratch, order a floor plan, open a template, or import a blueprint to draw over - it’s just one click, and you are on your way.
